Rollins Plays for Bird.

I'll start by saying that I love Sonny Rollins but prefer his live recordings to anything he's done in the studio. If I had to choose my favorite Rollins studio recording it would have to be Rollins Plays for Bird. Of all the recordings I've heard, he sounds most comfortable in this one.

    While I agree about Sonny's live performances, I do not think I am familiar with this performance.

    Are you saying that of all studio recordings he seems most comfortable, or of all recordings including live?

    Most comfortable in the studio recordings I've heard. Sonny rocks live.
