This blog is dedicated, but not limited, to the discussion of the finer things in life, Cuban cigars, Belgian beer, straight razors, music, food, family and friends (in addition to the ramblings of an old-school cat trapped in a modern world.) Bienvenido, and enjoy.

Playing in the realm of a whisper,
no one did it better than Miles Davis. While the lay-person is impressed by high, loud and fast playing (difficult on its own right), getting through a song playing so soft that the embouchure is almost not vibrating is, in my opinion, equally impressive. This for me, in addition to his sound and the content of what he played, made him truly unique.

As a lay person, but hopefully an educated one, I agree.
