Lezcha カミソリ


There is a new player on the straight razor scene, Lezcha Razors, made in the Ukraine. I was a bit apprehensive about trying a non-Japanese Kamisori but was attracted to the Lezcha's size. This razor is almost 7/8th wide, rather large for traditional Kamisori which are usually between 5/8 and 6/8ths. I honed and tested the razor pictured above with excellent results, it is easy to hone, shaved very well and has excellent balance. While I'm not sure what it is sealed with, the twine covered handle looks and feels nice.

For all you lefties, they make a left-handed Kamisori as well.
